☘︎ Acclimation

Familiarise your bunny with the sound and feel of the wand over several weeks. Always take a low-pressure, relaxed approach. Build trust slowly — you can signal safety by using it on your own nail first. Reward generously to encourage positive association.

☘︎ Safety

Secure your bun wrapped in a towel (a la Bunny Burrito), on your lap, or on a tall table or bench with a towel underneath to prevent slipping. Separate nail from fur (you can make a “bunny nail net” using mesh over the paw to hold fur aside). Use the LED guide and always mind the quick.

☘︎ Method

Hold the base of the nail firmly between your fingers — this dulls sensation and allows more precise control. Begin on the lowest setting. Apply at a 45° angle using short, gentle bursts to avoid overheating. Remove only small increments at a time, focusing on the tip.

If your bunny shows any distress, just do one or two nails at a time. Pause, reassure, and reward.
